The PowerTone System is interfaced with a standard 24 VDC fire alarm system to provide up to 6 distinctive, field selectable tones over speakers thereby replacing standard alarm indicating appliances. The PowerTone System consists of a PowerTone Module, am Alarm Indicating mini- Module, a mounting plate and an equipment enclosure. The PowerTone Module produces 25 watt RMS square wave output at 24 VDC (nominal).
The Alarm Indicating Min-Module provides two Style W (formerly Class B) supervised alarm indicating circuits with current limiting protection. The compact mounting plate has peel and stick position mounting pads for easy installation and can accommodate one PowerTone module and one Mini-Module or two Mini-Modules. Multiple Alarm Indicating Mini-Modules can be used to provide additional indicating circuits.
