The Wheelock ET80 High‑candela Speaker Strobes meet the
critical needs of the life safety industry for voice and tone
signaling. They have a vandal‑resistant die‑cast grill, a
sealed‑back speaker, and a Lexan lens for extra protection.
The high‑efficiency speaker is designed for maximum
output at a minimum wattage across a frequency range of
400 Hz to 4 kHz. It covers both 25 V and 75 V audio systems
with a series of wattage taps from 0.125 W to 8 W.
When used with the SM (single) or DSM (dual)
synchronization modules, the strobe produces a
synchronized strobe flash for compliance with ADA
guidelines concerning photosensitive epilepsy. All strobe
input is compatible with standard reverse polarity
supervision of circuit wiring by a fire alarm control panel
(FACP). 		These Wheelock retrofit strobes are a cost-effective way to retrofit required strobes to bells, horns, multi-tones, or speakers. Strobe options include intensities of 15/75 cd, 15 cd, 30 cd, 75 cd, 110 cd, 135 cd, and 185 cd. They can be synchronized when used with the SM (single) and DSM (dual) Synchronization Modules or a compatible control panel. Synchronized strobes can eliminate possible restrictions on the number of strobes in the field of view. When synchronized, these strobes comply with ADA requirements concerning photosensitive epilepsy and meet the requirements of NFPA 72.
