This software-only migration provides a seamless path to all the new, advanced features currently available and is the foundation for future enhancements. In addition to new features, 6.2 software also maintains complete backward compatibility with all previous generations of Rapid Eye Multi and Multi-Media systems. The V6.2 release brings new features to all three major components of the Rapid Eye system: the Recorder Unit (RU), including many enhancements to LocalVIEW; ADMIN Software, the workstation/server based administration tool and VIEW Software, the feature-rich, workstation-based operator program.
Superior video images, dramatically improved connection times and dynamically selectable video resolution are the highlights of the V6.2 release. Speed-up your Live connections and refresh rates by using the new thumbnail resolution and image size (160 x 120 NTSC) as your default VIEW setting.
