Dedicated Micros KBC1 - KEYBOARD FOR SD SERIES DVR Dedicated Micros KBC2 - KEYBOARD WITH JOYSTICK FOR SD SERIES DVR
The Dedicated Micros KBC1/KBC2 remote digital keyboards allow products such as the SD DVR to be controlled remotely.

The keyboards also include PTZ control with the 3-axis joystick on the KBC2 enabling an Operator to easily control pan, tilt and zoom functionality. The additional telemetry buttons ensure any telemetry features on DM or Dennard domes can be accessed and controlled via either keyboard. The majority of features on 3rd party PTZ and Dome cameras are additionally supported.

Supported Dedicated Micros products:
The following DM products are fully compatible with the KBC1/KBC2 keyboards:

  • SD DVR
  • NetVu Console
  • DV-IP RT Server
  • High Vu

Note: All KBC1/KBC2 connectivity is via an RJ12 cable. If connection to a 485-bus product is required (i.e. a DM NetVu connected DS2 DVR), please refer to the DM KBS3A keyboard. Connecting To NetVu connected products.

    Local Connection:
Both the KBC1 and KBC2 are supplied with an RJ12 cable. All Data and Power connections are provided over this. If connection is required over a distance greater than 5 metres, an additional local power supply connection is required.

    Remote Connection:
Both the KBC1 and KBC2 can be connected to a DVR over a distance of up to 1km, using a screened twisted pair cable. This configuration will require a breakout cable connection and a keyboard Power Supply Unit (PSU).
An Accessory kit (ref no:DM/KBC/ACC) enables remote connection using dual break out boxes and a remote PSU.

  • GE ESL 13-475 - Horn/Strobe, Red 15/75Cd, 30/120Cd,24Vdc

GE Interlogix Horn/Strobe Series is designed to comply with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) and meet UL standard 1971 requirements for emergency signaling devices for the hearing impaired. The horn/strobe series features a unique candela intensity field selector switch for alternating the candela output from 15cd to 30cd (75cd on axis). The horn provides two different field selectable tones, and a High/Low output setting that can be achieved with the use of mini jumpers located on back of the unit. The strobe housing is clearly labeled with vertical “FIRE” lettering and is polarized for connecting to supervised fire alarm circuits. The strobe is designed with a xenon flashtube and provides a candela intensity field selector switch for maximum performance. The horn/strobe series is available in red and white housing 24VDC models. These models can be synchronized by using the 13–472 Sync Module to comply with NFPA recommendations concerning photosensitive epilepsy when installing 2 or more visual appliances within the field of view. The strobe signals are listed for indoor use, wall mount, under UL 1971 Standard.

The audible and visual alarm indicating appliance is GE Interlogix model number 13–475 or 13–476. The strobe is listed under UL 1971 Standard for signaling devices for the hearing impaired and is approved for fire protective service. The candela output is field selectable, having a dual setting of 15cd or 30cd output. The horn provides two different field selectable tones and a High and Low field selectable sound output setting. The signaling horn/strobe operates on 24VDC from a non-coded regulated DC supply or full-wave rectified, unfiltered supply. The signaling strobe is designed to produce a signal flash of one flash per second (1 Hz) with continuously applied minimum voltage. The horn/strobe is capable of WALL mounting to a universal backbox. Visual signaling devices are mounted 80” above the highest floor point or 6” below ceiling; (whichever is lowest) and are to be installed as per plans and specifications.
