CV-500AR Auxiliary Stainless Steel Reader for use with CV-500PPK
Camden CM-500PPK proximity reader is a self-contained unit that provides single door access control for up to 500 users. All programming is done through the keypad, eliminating the need for computers or hand-held programmers. Programming information is held in non-volatile memory.
Two relay outputs are provided. Systems status is communicated via a tri-color LED and an audible output. The sealed polycarbonate enclosure is weather and tamper resistant. The proximity reader has a read range of up to 6", and may be used with either cards or plastic & leather fobs. For additional security and vandal resistance use CM-500AR auxiliary stainless steel prox reader. May also be used to provide bi-directional access control.
Cards can be programmed in groups (maximum of 99 cards per group).
Camden model CM-500PPK is a weather resistant proximity reader designed for medium duty, indoor or outdoor applications. For vandal-prone areas, use CM-500AR auxiliary prox reader, for mounting on the unprotected side of the door. The unit may be used as an access control device wherever controlled entry or egress through an electrically locked door is desired.
May also be used for activating/deactivating overhead doors, automatic doors, elevators, equipment or machinery.
