CX-PC-3 Lock Out Relay

CAMDEN DOOR CONTROLS offers a Lock-Out Relay (L.O.R.) for any automatic door operator: EM-2 for spring close DC motors; PC-3 for power assist, handicap operators, or regular operators; and EH-4b for electro-hydraulic/pneumatic operators with AC motors/solenoids.

Camden EM2/PC-3/EH46 Lock-Out Relays are designed to be used with safety sensors such as Optex Model OA-601C.

Since the safety sensor would normally detect the door when it is closing, a relay lockout device is used to bypass the sensor in the closing cycle only.

The safety sensor is switched back into the circuit once the door comes to the fully closed position.

An added feature of our L.O.R.’s is the ability to connect optional door beams. Should someone walk back into the path of the closing door, they would break the beam, which in turn would put the safety sensor back into circuit, turning on the operator safety.

This type of installation provides for maximum safety and is strongly recommended for swing doors.

The PESM (Programmable Energy Saver Module) is used to override existing thermostats for set-back control. It also may be used for sensing and controlling other temperatures, such as attic fans, garage fans, greenhouses, basements, wine coolers, humidors, etc. It may also be used to control spa heaters with remote temperature sensor. The PESM reports temperatures to the home control system, and has a low voltage relay and LED indicator for control. The PESM doubles as a freeze sensor, which can cause the controller to dial out in the event of a furnace failure. HAI 14A00-8 Water Temperature Sensor HAI 23A00-1 Surface Mount Remote Indoor Temperature Sensor
The 14A00-8 is a temperature sensor used to monitor the temperature of pools, spas, aquatic ponds, and greenhouses. The temperature sensing device is potted in a stainless steel probe. It is designed specifically to monitor water temperature from the return/source and then report that information back to an HAI Omni Family controller. If the temperature gets too high or low, the controller can then take the appropriate programmed action to bring the temperature back to the desired level. The temperature can also be displayed on the console, in PC Access, in Web-Link II, and spoken over the telephone. The 14A00-8 electronics are mounted in a plastic enclosure and are coated with a sealant to withstand outdoor moisture.

The Model 23A00-2 is a flush mount temperature sensor that can be installed on an Omnistat2 thermostat to monitor the temperature of a remote location, can be combined with the onboard temperature sensor for the average temperature of two locations, or can be used to monitor the outdoor temperature for dual fuel heat pump installations.

The Model 31A00-7 Extended Range Temperature Sensor is used for sensing temperatures from -40° F - 120° F. When connected to an HAI Home Control System with Firmware Version 2.8 or higher. It features a new, high accuracy temperature sensor. The temperature can be used to activate programs for controlling temperatures indoors and in attics, garages, greenhouses, basements, wine cellars, coolers, and freezers. The temperature can be displayed on the console or touchscreen, or spoken over the telephone. It can also report, log, alert, or generate an alarm if the temperature reaches freeze conditions or if the temperature goes above the high setpoint or drops below the low setpoint programmed in the system. Requirements:

Requires a neutral (white) connection wire. If you are using an HAI home control system with your switch you must install a UPB PIM & cable (HAI Part Number 36A00-1). If you are using the HAI Upstart Configuration software you must install an UPB PIM & cable (HAI Part Number 36A00-1) and a cable to connect your PIM to a computer (HAI Part Number 36A05-2).

Recommendation:

HAI recommends that every HAI Lighting Control (HLC) installation include a Phase Coupler (HAI Part Number 39A00-1). All HLC products are UL Listed and use Universal Powerline Bus (UPB) a digital communications standard for lighting and home control that ensures superior reliability. UPB has been extensively tested and researched in residential environments and found to be 99.9 percent reliable. UPB works over existing wires in a home and does not require new wiring. The HAI UPB 600W Switch is capable of storing up to 16 preset light levels to create powerful lighting scenes. It is capable of being set to a non-dimming mode (see Configuration Software below) in order to control loads, such as fluorescent lights, that do not belong on a dimming switch.

Usage:

The 600 Watt UPB Dimmer Switch works as a standalone switch or may be used with other HAI Products, including Scene Switches, House Status Switches, and Home Control Systems to provide sophisticated lighting control. Our 600W switch has been engineered with less depth than our competitor's products; consequently, our switches are easier to install.

Switch LED:

The 600W switch comes with equipped with a multi-color LED indicator, which may be set to off, blue, red, or magenta. The default settings are as follows: Switch is off - LED is blue, Switch is on - LED is off

Colors:

This switch comes with a default white paddle, connectors, and instructions. Switch Color Change Kits (HAI Part Number 35A14-color codeCS) are available in in White (WH), Ivory (IV), Almond (AL), Light Almond (LTA), Brown (BR), Grey (GR), and Black (BL) colors. They are sold in case lots of 12 only.

Wallplate:

No Wallplate is included when you purchase this switch. With the exception of the 1500W and 2400W models, HLC switches accommodate standard Decora-style wallplates. Mix and match to easily add a personalized touch to any room.

Configuration Software:

When used with an HAI Home Control System HLC products automatically configure themselves, and outside software is not required. HAI offers HAI UPB UPStart Configuration software for professionals who desire to make advanced changes to our default setup. HAI UPB UPStart configuration software will allow you to change the function of this dimming switch to be non-dimming or vice-versa. This software also allows you to change the colors on the switch's LED and the rate that it brightens to fully on or dims to fully off.
