These Wheelock horn strobes are two-wire devices with a strobe listed at 15 cd, but providing 75 cd on axis. They offer tone choices of either continuous horn or temporal pattern (Code 3) horn when constant voltage from the fire alarm control panel (FACP) is applied. Each tone has three volume levels that can be selected at installation (field-selectable). These horn strobes can be synchronized with the SM (single) or DSM (dual) modules or a compatible control panel. The audible response can be silenced while maintaining strobe activation, a requirement in some jurisdictions.
