Bosch NWC-0700 IP 2 Megapixel Camera Bosch NWC-0800 IP 3.1 Megapixel Camera 12VDC / POE
Bosch Security Systems, Inc., a full-line manufacturer of high-quality security solutions, introduces its Megapixel cameras, delivering up to 3.1 million pixels in each image for high-resolution digital imaging and flexibility. One Megapixel camera covers the same area as multiple analog surveillance cameras, lowering installation and maintenance costs and equipment investment. These high-performance network cameras deliver data, are controlled over and get power from an Ethernet network, further simplifying installation procedures and routine maintenance.

Three models of Megapixel cameras are available: The NWC-0700 color model is equipped with a two megapixel (MP) sensor, the NWC-0800 color 3.1 MP model provides high definition imaging at extended distances, the NWC-0900 day/night dual sensor camera includes a 3.1 MP color camera for daytime imaging, and a 1.3 MP high-sensitivity monochrome camera for night or low light imaging. The live video stream produced from Megapixel cameras may be viewed and recorded with the Bosch DiBos Hybrid digital video recorder (DVR). In addition, the DiBos recorder allows Megapixel cameras to be easily integrated into mixed systems supporting both digital and analog closed circuit television (CCTV) surveillance components, allowing a gradual phased-in upgrade path for older systems.

These cameras are particularly well suited for environments filled with people and vehicles, such as airports, highways, banks, sidewalk ATMs or stadiums. The Megapixel cameras' ability to zoom in and clearly distinguish faces and license plates in crowded areas makes them invaluable to detecting dangerous activity and ensuring safety for the surrounding population. Because of the high resolution image capture, security personnel can zoom in with impressive precision when playing back the video, even if the scene was originally captured at a significant distance.

PCI3	RS-232/RS-485 Communication Interface NC-N485PCI2 RS485 PC Intrfce Version 2 - NC-N485PCI2
PCI3 RS-232/RS-485 Communication Interface. The NC-PCI3 replaces NC-N485PCI2L

The PCI3 Communications Adapter functions as the interface between a host computer’s RS232 port and one or more Honeywell access control panels connected on an RS485 multi-drop line. The adapter translates the PC’s CIDD protocol to the proprietary RS485 protocol.

The PCI3 can be used to replace a PW5K1CVT1 or a PRO22CVT1; however, the PCI3 does not have optical isolation as the others do. This isolation may be useful in some applications.

The PCI3 also replaces the N-485-PCI-2, N-485-HUB-2, and N485PCI2L adapters, and it adds the following features:

• Variable communications speed up to 115.2 Kbps on the RS232 port.
• Capacity to add future technology enhancements without legacy limitations.
• Time with “seconds” in true reports.
• Flash upgrades of NS2 and NS2P access control panels.

The PCI3 operates as the arbitrator of the drop line, polling each API for its information, and determining its status. If an API or panel drops out, the PCI notifies the host. If communication to the host is lost, the PCI sends a buffer command to the panels for them to buffer events (when configured with WIN-PAK version 1.17 or higher using the RS232 ACK/NAK option, where DIP switch 5 is in the UP position). Communications with the host can only be detected when the PCI3 is running in the ACK/NAK mode of operation.

When access control system configurations include an Ethernet-to-RS232 conversion product instead of a direct host connection, the PCI’s RS232 port operates the same as with a direct connection.

RS-485 PC Interface. The N-485-PCI-2 is an RS-485 interface located between the computer and the access control panels. It converts the RS-232 data coming from the PC into RS-485 data. Comes with a 3' (0.9 m) 9-pin cable for connection to the PC, cable can be extended to within RS-232 maximum distance. For use with N-485-API-2, N-1000- III, N-1000-IV, NS2 or NS2+ panel. Dimensions: 5.5" H x 3.875" W x 2" D (13.97cm H x 9.843cm W x 5.08cm D). ALL 485 UNITS IN THE SYSTEM MUST HAVE THE SAME VERSION FIRMWARE.

Versatility, reliability and expandability are the three main features that make the N-1000 the most popular access control panel ever. Another key feature of the N-1000 is its completely distributed database. All card information, time zone information, relay control information and alarm point information is loaded into the N-1000’s memory. The unit can operate completely stand alone without dependence on any other equipment. The most important feature of any access control system is the ability to be expanded. The N-1000 will operate as a stand alone two or four door controller, and as needs increase, up to 31 N-1000's may be connected on an RS485 drop-line.
Using WIN-PAKTM access control software, a total system is achieved by having each drop-line connected to a communication port, modem or ethernet terminal server. N-1000 is designed to operate off-line, making access control decisions independently from a PC or other controlling device. It can also be connected to a host computer for system configuration, alarm monitoring and direct control. Connectivity to the host computer is accomplished via direct serial communication (RS232 or RS485), dial-up modem or TCP/IP network connection. The N-1000-IV-X allows for a card database of 25,000 cards and a transaction buffer capable of storing 6,600 transactions
