FM Systems FMT633Y MTS TV Stereo Generator 41.25 MHz Output

The FMT633Y Stereo TV multiplexer-modulator is used to convert monaural audio programming into a multiplexed MTS compatible 41.25MHz carrier output. The 41.25 MHz signal is connected directly to a TV Modulator equipped with a separate 41.25 MHz input port.

 

The FMT633Y multiplexer converts mono audio into a stereo signal by means of a proprietary stereo synthesis process that is much less sensitive to gain and phase misalignments in the stereo TV receivers and cable equipment, yet is compatible with standard MTS stereo television sets.

 

This unit will deliver a greater perception of stereo to a wider diversity of stereo TV receivers than ordinary MTS modulators that depend on almost perfect level and phase control of the L+R and L-R signal to produce stereo. Up to three FMT633Y units will fit into a single 1.75” high PMS610 series mainframe.
