Schlage brings the security and convenience of biometric technology to any access control system with the FingerKey DX series of fingerprint readers. Using FingerKey, your finger is your credential and this technology provides reliable one-to-one matching - personal proof that people are who they claim to be in less than one second. FingerKey DX is convenient, fast, accurate, and easy to implement.

The FingerKey is designed to instantly replace existing readers and requires no new wiring. It can accommodate any access control system easily, with 8 Wiegand and 2 magnetic stripe built-in formats. In addition it offers the option to create your own Wiegand format.

Schlage offers 4 versions of the FingerKey DX
DX-2000 – Fingerprint with keypad. Keypad ID entry for systems without cards
DX-2100 – The DX-2000 with an imbedded HID proximity reader. Add a layer of security by requiring proximity card verification with every transaction
DX-2200 – By integrating an iCLASS smart card reader into the FingerKey DX-2200, the fingerprint template is stored on a contact-less smart card instead of in a database which protects the user’s privacy while providing greater security.
DX-2400 – With an imbedded MIFARE or DESFire smart card reader, this reader provides greater security and biometric template portability.
HandNet Lite software provides a graphical user interface for template distribution over serial or Ethernet networks along with system monitoring and configurable Wiegand formatting.
