The NB-U is a background music adapter from Aiphone which is capable of offering high compatibility with the NEM series of systems. The NB-U music adapter is capable of supporting up to 40 stations for BGM, and features an automatic mute, a 100mV input, and a lightweight design. The NB-U background music adapter requires a 10W separate amplifier, and comes complete with easy installation that can save both money and time.

Background music will mute automatically throughout the entire system during calling and communication.
Background music can not be switched off at sub station.
In an NEM (Type C) system with NEW-5, parallel-call adaptor, NB-U, BGM adaptor can not be used.
